Jane and Richard Pugh extend a warm welcome to Millfields House, their delightful, quietly situated home, providing comfortable guest accommodation and delicious home-cooked breakfasts.  On fine summer days guests are welcomed with tea in the garden under the shade of the Medlar tree.  

From the garden you can see Cranbrook's famous Union Mill (John Russell, the last owner of the Mill built Millfields House) and the  historic market town including the fine church of St Dunstan's and Cranbrook school.

The house is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Cranbrook, which has a good range of shops selling clothing, antiques, gifts and, delicious food and wine.  Coffee bars, tea shops, pubs and restaurants offer the visitor lots of choice from traditional fare to fine dining.  

Cranbrook is at the heart of of the High Weald so Millfields House provides the ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside of the Garden of England with its many historic houses, villages, towns,  castles, cathedrals and glorious gardens.

Sissinghurst Castle Garden is just a few minutes drive while Great Dixter, Bodiam Castle, Scotney Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens and Bedgebury Pinetum are close by.  With good road links other lovely gardens, National Trust properties and cities are all within easy reach. Brighton and Canterbury for example are just an hour away.
